MOD issue, British army desert socks. Moisture-wicking and breathable, excellent for hot weather to keep your feet comfortable and dry but can also be used in cooler climates as a very comfortable warm sock.

MOD Desert Socks

Great value for money. Very comfortable if spending all day on your feet. Surprisingly warm even in cooler weather, and appear to be hard wearing. Wouldn't advise use with tight fitting footwear.

British Army Desert socks

Top quality socks for the warmer months, should last a long time. Very comfortable in walking boots. I have multiple pairs of these for my foreign fishing trips and they have performed great. When it’s cooler I switch to wool. I don’t see why you would need to pay more for an outdoor brand.
