Great knife strong springs

As a knife collector, I can say the knife is of very good quality. The only issue I have is that the spring steel holding the blades closed is far too strong, so you need an iron grip to deploy any of the blades or tools (this may bed in with use). Silverman delivered in a timely fashion with no issues. The plastic scales have very good knurling, making a firm grip solidly achievable. Obviously, this is a new reproduction of the WW2 Jack Knife and as such has to remain true to the script. This means that the rivets and carry loop are of 'poor' looking design, but remember this is a genuine 100% reproduction and comes as they were issued to our troops back in WW2. All in all, I am really pleased with my purchase of a 'Sheffield made', Jack Knife.
