I was late to the party on ordering the size I wanted for a slimmer fit than I would normally buy, due to this being leather. Usually a medium, I punted for a small with some hope it would fit (I'm 44 chest, 5 ft 7, so a large I swim in medium, the fit in a medium ok, but tight if a liner is in on a NORMAL M-65..) - at any rate, I was pleasantly surprised that the SMALL fit perfect in 98% of this jacket - the only 2% "problem" (Challenge) being the left and right arm holes pinching on the front seams - fortunately, this not being thick cowhide, with an application of leather conditioner, and items stuffed in the armholes, I'm hopeful they'll stretch just that wee bit. Other than that, its tailor made you'd think. Stitching is good, light breathable sewn in liner, mobile phone inner pocket, outer pockets right size per a "standard" M-65. Hood is cloth and well-hidden in the collar; has inner waist adjusters; sleeve ends velcro cinches only, but that's ok. Its a shame that Silverman's isn't planning to carry these again as I'd love one in a medium to compare - as I collect M-65s (over 40 different patterns and materials from around the world), this was a chance to collect one far cheaper than the Cooper-made one that retails for $900 US - at £80 pounds on sale, an absolute steal and almost shameful. A wee bit of tweaks and these would be big sellers Oh Mighty Silvermans! Thanks.
