ALTBERG OPS NON-AQUA BOOTS BROWN

This is the next generation of the Altberg Defender and Warrior boots, the original high liability lightweight combat boots. The main improvements are:

- The last (footshape) is much improved, narrower heel and more natural forefoot shape with toe spring, based on running shoe technology
- Increased ankle protection with full 2.4mm Anfibio leather
- Flex area above instep around leg to give complete achilles flex and comfort
- Re-design of tongue leather to improve 'water run off' and lacing comfort

The Military Ops boot was developed during 2018/2019 and the result is a better fitting boot with improved mobility for running and tabbing, and stronger lateral support to improve ankle security on rough terrain. Many of the original materials used in Altberg's original Defender boots are retained, so breathability, drying out, shock absorption and lightweight are as good, and in some cases better.

Current stock is the SF version with laces loops at the top instead of hooks, and a brown sole.

- Upper: 2.4mm full grain Anfibio water-repellent leather (foot and heel), 1.8mm soft supple full grain water-repellent leather (leg and tongue)
- Lining: spacer mesh, maximum breathability and zero moisture retention (forefoot), Cambrelle breathable, absorbent, for all day comfort (heel)
- Mid-sole: Tri-Flex 2-3 season, good flex control and torsional resistance, graded individually for each size
- Sole: Defender Hi-Traction - excellent up-hill traction and downhill braking, slip-resistance highest level SRC (ISO EN 20345:2012), anti-static (ISO EN 20344:6.2.2.2 (345)), oil-resistance (ISO EN 20345:2012), shock absorption of heel (ISO EN 20344:2012: 5.1.4)
