ARCTIC COLD WEATHER SOCKS (WHITE/ECRU)

Real Nato socks do not have this 16 digit number, they're 9001. Also Nato socks are twice as thick, + are long enough to fold down over tops of wellies. So, not Nato...
Also somebody 's mixed up the size labels! I see in other reviews, someone with small feet found the medium size to be huge on them. My feet are small, I bought the huge size just in case they shrink & found them just right to wear on top of my base layer socks.
So, not the real deal, & the labelling 's all over the shop, but I think they're still pretty good for what they are. Certainly well made, broad & comfy, with good elasticity. Lets see in a year if they have worn well without going into holes, that's the real test, the test of time. If it's really nylon they have mixed with the wool, not polypropylene, there will be no holes for 25 years. Anyone else tried them long term yet?

I was a bit worried when I ordered the medium socks (I'm bang on 8.5 shoe size) that these might be too small for me... WRONG! These socks are gigantic, warm socks. Each sock feels like it could fit a newborn inside (I have not tested this). They almost reach my knees. They have a slightly weird smell, which only adds to their charm. 9/10 would buy again.

I haven't found any socks as warm as these at such a good price. Only time will tell how long they last, but I've had other pairs for a couple of years and they are still in good condition.

Very happy with purchase ,1st time I had warm feet when fishing this winter. Great delivery time.

These are NOT original issue Arctic socks irrespective of the label attached with a NATO stock number. They are nothing like the quality of the original issued socks. They are not warm and of poor quality and merely a cheep copy.
