Really comfortable boots. Ideal for the desert - best to avoid the monsoon!

I bought a pair of these in 2018 when going on honeymoon anticipating A LOT of walking in Japan. And they didn't disappoint. Light, comfortable from the first wear and cool on ridiculously hot days. Got absolutely soaked and dried out perfectly for the next day. I'm still wearing them 7 years on (even as I write this after a day exploring Spanish hillside villages). Yes, the sole is a bit worn and they have next to no grip if you get caught in the rain, but I don't think you could get a better wearing pair of boots for the money. I'll have another pair if these ones ever fall apart!

I’ve been wearing desert boots since my service days in the 70s and have always relied on them to be robust, sadly wore the Ghillies once only to discover a hole appeared in the sole at the heel , seems like the material has just dissolved. Obviously can’t return them as I’ve worn them . Sadly not the same quality sole as the old models . Feel quite disappointed

I have been wearing this type of boot for years. Very comfortable & fairly wide fitting.

I have no issue in recommending this boot to other buyers.
