Truly excellent

I purchased an M73 (in degrees) after 17 years in the British army. I was so impressed with it during my service that l had to have one in civvy street. Expensive but worth every penny, and highly recommended.

BEST MATCHING COMPASS MADE

Brilliant compass, built to the very highest quality. If you want a compass for use with a map this may not be for you. I use it with a baseplate compass for plotting routes and the M73 for taking and following bearings. It's a doddle to use and the prism is easy to focus even with my bad eyes. Francis Barker say you can take a bearing to ½deg, absolutely correct. One thing to note, unless you are in the military make sure you buy the degrees model you won't be disappointed.
