1960s BRITISH RAF SUNGLASSES M. WISEMAN

Very good. I have compaired these to my other sunglasses including my AO American Optical pair. These are equally as good. The lenses are quite bright looking through them with very good contrast and are still bright even indoors (low light). The lenses have a slight downward (inward) slope, so they don't leave a big gap at the bottom - very good design. The lenses were a little dirty but I breathed on them a few times and wiped with soft tissue and were then perfect. Picture shows what looks like scratches but it ISN'T, it's just some grease marks showing up on the photo . . . sorry about that.

Whether you're buying these to wear or as a collector of militaria, you'll not be disappointed. These are a sturdy well made item, which also look good should you choose to wear them. The lenses are also of a pretty high standard. My pair was made in 1977 and it was like opening a time capsule when I cut open the plastic wrapping. The price isn't too bad, either, when you can see well used pairs selling for over £100 on collector's web sites. I put my pair into a more modern/practical plastic case for day to day use.

Fantastic product. I was thrilled to find these vintage glasses in a brand new state. I have worn them daily since they were delivered.
