1960s STYLE PUSSERS GRIP HOLDALL

First of all, the bag is a close reproduction of the original military bag. I have a vintage bag too so I could closely compare the two. They are exactly the same size, the colour is good too, there are some differences in hardware. The zipper is modern and doesn't have the same hole that allows the D ring at the end to be inserted so you can put a lock on it. Would've been nice with a zipper that was identical but it's a small grievance. The worst thing I can say is that whoever sewed the bag used a black marker to mark where to sew the leather pieces :( I had to use rubbing alcohol to remove those ink lines. It definitely wasn't a great look to have black marker on some of the leather. Maybe use something else as a guide? Anyway, it's a nice roomy overnight bag, with a great look. Overall I'm happy with it.

Just like the original... even has the slightly gas masky Navy stores smell ..just the job

Having had a Pussers Grip I can say this is a very good facsimile of the original.
Not sure if the slightly damp odour (to my nose) is the actual smell of the fabric or from where it's been stored. Nevertheless, I like it a lot.

The interior finish is a bit rough as one of the other reviewers says but it's exactly how I remember the original 😀

Delivery was quick. Size of holdall reasonable. Am sorry to say that interior finish was very, very disappointing.
