Heavy-duty 17oz cotton canvas, washed to give a vintage look. Tough, durable and very warm with faux fur lining. Wool storm cuffs inside sleeve. Inside press stud pocket and two outer slash pockets, cotton-lined. Throat strap for fastening stand up collar when required in cold weather. Removeable fur collar.

(Please note the material is a natural cotton canvas and will have slight imperfections and marks in the material which will not affect the life of the jacket and adds to the rugged look of this jacket).

A quality jacket, a good thickness of canvas and fur lined inside. Not cold enough to wear it yet!
Size wise, XL fits really well- 6’ 1” / 14 st.

I got the Large size in Black. (I'm 5' ll", 43 ins chest).
Excellent heavy, warm rugged jacket.
Prefect length, but snug fit - could be too snug if worn with a pullover, so perhaps Ex L size, given the thick lining, would be more comfortable.
Musty smell of canvas when first opened (like an old Boy Scouts tent) but soon evaporated when aired outside on washing line. Dry clean only.

My one complaint is that the very heavy black canvas/duck cloth seems to be impregnated in places with a sparce scattering of tiny whitish specs , which don't brush off, and which look like a scattering of dandruff when viewed close up ! Hope they wear off with wear ! - Otherwise a great rugged jacket for standing on a windy sea-sprayed deck, and built to last, but a bit cumbersome for active manual work. The service from Silvermans was excellent, as always !

Exceeded expectations.

This jacket is better than I thought it would be. Not only is the construction of the jacket excellent, it just could not be a better fit. Thankfully the description was good stating that those items come in a generous fit. This encouraged me to purchase..
